It is belived that the earliest of this line is John Sharp who was born in New York in 1805 and was married to Martha Smith who was born in 1810 in Canada.
- Their son, James Irving Sharp, was born 13 May 1832 in Ontario, Canada and died 8 Feb 1916 at Ridgely, Maryland. His wife, Harriett Richardson, wa born 15 Apr 1833 in England and died in Feb 1876 in Lynn, Michigan.
- Their son, George Washington Sharp, was born 11 Feb 1869 at Sharps Corner, Bay City Area, MI and died 22 Apr 1951 at Wilmington, Delaware. His wife, Emily Elizabeth Seymour was born 19 Apr 1882 at Trappe, MD and died 22 Jan 1971 at Wilmington, DE.
