Wethersfield, CT in a horse drawn emigrant wagon traveling from place to
place. They cut their way through woods looking for a good source of
drinking water. Guy's sister Maria and she accompanied them
husband Daniel Wolcott. They found the water source in Wyoming County,
NY and name the town Wethersfield after their native town in CT. In 1833,
he moved to Wood County, OH. His oldest son (Justus) remained in the
Wethersfield, NY.
